Starting today, the Theater for Children and Youth humming-bird Craiova starts the first series of creative workshops within the 2022 / 2023 Season.

Monday, 5:00 p.m. – CHILDHOOD IN COLORS (coord. Laura Pumnea), workshop intended for children between the ages of 3 and 5, where they will have fun transforming recyclable materials into a variety of objects, in various shapes and colors, which they will be able to use as toys.
Tuesday, 17:00 – LEARN TO PLAY (coord. Laura Pumnea), workshop for children aged 2-4 years, where the little ones will enjoy educational, cheerful and creative games.
Wednesday, 17:00 – WE IMPROVISE AND HAVE FUN (coord. Robert Iovan), workshop for the age group 5-7 years, which aims to gather children in a fun meeting, which will relax them and teach them the secrets and benefits of improvisation at their level of perception.
Wednesday, 18:00 – THE CREATIVE LABORATORY (coord. Andreea Melinescu)a workshop intended for children at least 8 years old, in which they will discover the secrets of manual work.
Thursday, 5:00 p.m. – GAMES, MAGIC AND PUPPETS (coord. Geo Dinescu), for children between the ages of 3 and 6, a workshop that aims to develop the personality of the young child through theatrical games and elements specific to the puppet theater.
Thursday, 18:00 – THE GAME TO PLAY (coord. Oana Stancu), for children at least 9 years old, improvisation workshop, where children discover the secrets of theater.
Friday, 17:00 – BUILDING STORIES (coord. Laura Pumnea), workshop for children aged 4-6, during which they will be creators of stories and their protagonists.
Saturday, 14:00 – IN FRONT AND BEHIND THE CAMERA (coord. Geo Dinescu, Marin Fagu, Andreea Melinescu), minimum age accepted 9 years. Do you want to learn how to behave in front of the camera or how to operate a video camera?! Do you dream of being an actor, director or cinematographer? It all starts here! Both in front and behind the camera!
Saturday, 15:00 – SPECIAL REPORTER (coord. Laura Pumnea), minimum age for participation 8 years, workshop that emphasizes curiosity and creativity, freedom of expression and originality, materialized in articles, interviews, reports published in the Teatre Gazette.
Saturday, 4:00 p.m. – DOLL CREATOR (coord. Adriana Teodorescu), for children between the ages of 6 and 10, a workshop where they can build their own theater with imagination and skill, with dolls made from textile scraps, wooden spoons, crepe paper and other materials.
Saturday, 4:00 p.m. – DISCOVERY THROUGH THE THEATER (coord. Geo Dinescu), for children at least 7 years old, a workshop where they discover the specific elements of theater, but also how to apply them in real life (emotion management, public speaking, things that help them develop their confidence and self-esteem).
Saturday, 17:00 – PUZZLE FACTORY (coord. Adriana Teodorescu), minimum participation age 8 years, in which children discover the puzzle pieces that build the show on stage, becoming the actors of the context they created.
Saturday, 19:00 – DIGITAL ANIMATION (coord. Marin Fagu), minimum age 10 years, during which participants will discover the rules and techniques of animation and digital graphics, how a character created/drawn by them can be animated and how they can create something extraordinary from nothing.
The workshops will meet on the stage of the Colibri Theater on Sunday, December 4, 2022, the institution’s representatives announce.
