We have invested a lot in these preparations, and in terms of delivery, this year we are ready to deliver from our second warehouse in Joita, equipped with smart shelves and state-of-the-art robots, after an investment in technology that has increased to over 43 million euros. Therefore, the delivery will be better than ever”, said Stejara Pircan.

As in previous years, on eMAG the discounts will be published first thing in the morning, at 7:00 or 8:00, although, the day before, there will already be lists with the most attractive offers.

On the other hand, last year, only 6% of electro-IT products in Romania had the lowest price of the year on Black Friday, according to a report by an online price monitoring service.

Also, last year, on Black Friday in Romania, electronics and classic household appliances remained the top sellers, but cars, jewelry or gold bars were also successful.

Implicitly, stores started to lower the price of products from that Friday, and for several decades, the term Black Friday and Christmas discounts began to be associated more and more, and that’s how their name has remained to this day. The popularity of this phenomenon in the United States led retailers from other countries to “import” Black Friday.

In Romania, Black Friday appeared in 2011, the concept being brought to the country by eMag and Flanco. Over the years, dozens of stores in Romania have put up Black Friday offers.
