The Russians left Kharkov and Donetsk without electricity. Zelenski raged at the Russians: Do you still think you can scare us or bring us to our knees?

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Russia was responsible for power outages that affected large areas of eastern Ukraine and accused Moscow of deliberately targeting civilian infrastructure, not military installations. “The goal is to deprive people of light and heating,” said the Ukrainian president. Zelenski told the Russians to understand that they choose to remain without gas, water, electricity and food than “to be with them”

“Even through the impenetrable darkness, Ukraine and the civilized world clearly see these terrorist acts. Deliberate and cynical missile attacks on critical civilian infrastructure. Where there are no military installations. Kharkiv and Donetsk regions were left without power. In Zaporozhye, Dnipropetrovsk and Sumy there are partial problems with power supply. Do you still think we are “one people”? Do you still think you can scare us, bring us to our knees or make us concessions?

Did you really not understand anything? Don’t you understand who we are? What are we for? What are we talking about? Read our lips: No gas or no you? Without you. Without light or without you? Without you. Without water or without you? Without you. No food or no you? Without you. Cold, hunger, darkness, and thirst are not as fearful and lethal to us as “your friendship and brotherhood.” But history will put everything in its place. We will have gas, light, water and food… and we will be without you,” Zelenski wrote on Telegram.

Important parts of eastern Ukraine were affected by power outages on Sunday evening, Ukrainian officials announced. The authorities in the Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk and Poltava regions later announced that the electricity supply had been fully restored.

Zelensky, speech for the Ukrainian army after 200 days of war: 20 million seconds of Ukrainian resistance. And so many reasons to say thank you

Volodymyr Zelenskiy dedicated his speech on Sunday night to the defenders of Ukraine, thanking everyone in the military, from the infantry to the air force, navy and intelligence services. “It is the 200th day of resistance. Fighting. Our people’s war. For freedom, for independence, for the right to be. In these 200 days, they have achieved a lot, but what is the most important, as a result and the most difficult, follows. And I want to dedicate this speech to those who are ahead. Who have the hardest time now, when they are doing the most important thing.

These are all defenders of Ukraine. All those who bravely resisted for 200 days, being exactly the reason why Ukraine resists. Powerful and that’s why we are free. Unbreakable and that’s why we are independent. Our fighters, who have stopped the enemy in a heroic manner, are now pushing the occupiers out to the north, south and east. In all directions, but moving in one direction – forward and towards victory.

200 days of Ukrainian resistance. Almost 5000 hours. Almost 300,000 minutes. Almost 20 million seconds. And so many reasons to say thank you to everyone who made this possible. Millions of times. Let’s tell them that we believe in them, we believe in their victory,” Zelensky said.

He spoke about the destruction brought by the Ukrainian army to the Russian invaders and about the defended and liberated areas: “I thank all those who in 200 days destroyed over 2,000 enemy tanks, 4,500 armored vehicles, over 1,000 enemy artillery systems, 250 planes and 200 helicopters, almost 1,000 drones, 15 ships and boats, thousands by other enemy equipment. They liberated hundreds of towns and villages. They destroyed the plans of the enemies. They defended Kiev. They saved our capital and thus maintained our faith in victory. Who defended Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Chernihiv, Odesa, Zaporozhye, Dnipro. They defended Mariupol and Azovstal. They liberated Kyiv region, Zhytomyr region, Chernihiv region, Sumy region. Bucha, Irpin, Borodianka, Vorzel, Hostomel, Makariv, Ohtîrka, Sumî. And now Balaklia, Izium, Kapiansk. All those who liberated, are liberating and will liberate all temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. (…) Who worked at 200 percent in these 200 days”.

“The enemies said that they got lost, that they were going to an exercise. You taught him a lot. The ability to quickly suit up and leave our earth and the understanding that by abandoning equipment and weapons this can be done much faster and easier. Many will never forget what awaits all uninvited guests in Ukraine. Our fighters. Today, everyone is watching our actions in the north, south and east of Ukraine. The world is impressed. The enemy is panicked. Ukraine is proud of you, believes in you, prays for you and is waiting for you. The road to victory is a difficult one. But we are sure: you are capable. You will reach borders in all sections. You will see our borders and you will see the backs of the enemies. You will see the shine in the eyes of our people and the heels of the occupants. They will call them “gestures of goodwill”. We’ll call it victory.

We believe in you, in those who did their job risking their lives, defending their country for all 200 days, at -15 degrees Celsius or +35 degrees, at 02.00 at night or at 06.00 in the morning, or on a normal Monday or Independence Day, despite the fatigue, tension and danger. Which were prepared. Who does not pay attention to rumors and gossip. Who do not read fake news on the Internet, but write history in real life. The history of independence. The history of victory. History of Ukraine. Our fighters, our defenders. For us, you are definitely the first army in the world”Zelensky also said.
