An order published in public debate and signed by the Ministry of Labor and the Ministry of Finance proposes that the monthly amount granted in the form of daycare vouchers should increase, starting from October. Currently, the value of the tickets is 520 lei.
The higher the value of the nursery vouchers
According to the Order regarding the establishment of the value of the indexed monthly amount that is granted in the form of daycare vouchers for the second semester of 2022, for the second semester of 2022, starting from October 2022, the value of the monthly amount that is granted in the form of daycare vouchers, established according to the provisions of art. 33 of the methodological norms for the application of Law no. 165/2018 regarding the granting of vouchers, approved by Government Decision no. 1045/2018, with subsequent amendments, is 570 lei, writes romaniatv.net.
Who can benefit from this amount?
“Nursery vouchers are tickets of value that are given, monthly, to employees who do not benefit from the leave and allowance granted for raising a child up to 2 years old, respectively up to 3 years old in the case of a disabled child”, according to Law no. 165/2018writes the same source previously mentioned.
This amount can be used to pay the fees at the nursery where he is registered. Tickets are granted, upon request, to one of the parents or the guardian to whom the child was entrusted for growth and education, based on the family book.
“The individual amount in the form of nursery vouchers is granted, according to art. 18 para. (1) of the law, for the partial or full coverage of daycare fees representing the monthly contribution of parents/legal representatives to cover expenses for children enrolled in daycare centers or other public early childhood education units, (…) or, as the case may be, the equivalent to the services provided by private preschool early education units or nannies and is fully borne by the employer”, according to the rules.
In order to issue daycare vouchers, the employee must submit the following documents:
a) application for the granting of a nursery school ticket;
b) the document of proof issued by the nursery school/entity assimilated to it where the child is enrolled;
c) documents attesting to parenthood, namely the child’s birth certificate, in the case of natural parents, or the court decision approving the adoption, in the case of the adopted child;
d) documents attesting to the status of guardian, respectively the court decision establishing guardianship or, as the case may be, the disposition of the guardianship authority;
e) self-responsible declaration that the other parent or, as the case may be, the guardian does not benefit from daycare vouchers, leave and monthly allowance for raising the child up to 2 years old, respectively up to 3 years old, in the case of the child with a disability ;
