Throughout the month of October, the Mobile Cervical Cancer Screening Caravan is dedicated to major employers.
In this way, we appeal to all large employers in Mureş County and other counties in the Central Region to offer employed women a gift of health and to request the mobile caravan for cervical cancer screening for free Babeş-Papanicolaou and HPV testing .

The mobile caravan for cervical cancer screening will be present, again, between October 12-27, 2022, in Chirileu and Sânpaul, at the headquarters of Hirschmann Automotive TM SRL.
As part of this action, women between the ages of 24 and 64 will have samples collected for free Pap smear and HPV testing, in order to detect precursor lesions of cervical cancer.
The schedule of the caravan between October 12-27, 2022 is as follows:
– 12.10.2022 – Hirschmann Automotive TM SRL – Sânpaul DN 1515C – starting at 08.30;
– 13.10.2022 – Hirschmann Automotive TM SRL – Sânpaul DN 1515C – starting at 2.30 p.m.;
– 19.10.2022 – Hirschmann Automotive TM SRL –– Sânpaul DN 1515C starting at 08.30;
– 20.10.2022 – Hirschmann Automotive TM SRL – Chirileu, no. 1/A – starting at 2 p.m.;
– 26.10.2022 – Hirschmann Automotive TM SRL – Sânpaul DN 1515C – starting at 08.30;
– 27.10.2022 – Hirschmann Automotive TM SRL – Sânpaul DN 151C – starting at 14.00.

All actions are carried out within the project “Program for prevention, early detection and early treatment of cervical cancer, Center region” (SMIS code 138603) carried out by the Târgu Mureș County Emergency Clinical Hospital as a beneficiary, in partnership with the University of Medicine, Pharmacy, Science and Technology “George Emil Palade” from Târgu Mureș.
The project “Cervical cancer prevention, early detection and early treatment program, Center region” aims to increase access to affordable, sustainable and high-quality services, including medical assistance and social services of general interest, by organizing programs of health and services oriented towards prevention, early detection (screening), diagnosis and early treatment of cervical cancer for 170,200 women in the Center region, of which at least 50% belong to vulnerable groups.
The project carried out by the Târgu Mureş County Emergency Clinical Hospital in partnership with the University of Medicine, Pharmacy, Sciences and Technology “George Emil Palade” from Târgu Mureş, dedicated to promoting the prevention and early detection of cervical cancer, pleads to attract the attention of public authorities on the importance of performing a cervical screening at the level of the Center region, to increase the number of women who go regularly for medical check-ups and who are aware of the importance of early cancer detection, as well as to influence the perceptions and attitude of society in order to change the habits and behaviors of members his.
