This year, the works of replacing the old pipes with new pipes in a pre-insulated system continued, the City Hall announces. The works were carried out in the framework of the project regarding the modernization of the centralized heating system in Timişoara in order to comply with the environmental protection norms and to increase the efficiency in the heat supply. In total, within the project, 26,262 linear m of primary and secondary thermal network were rehabilitated, representing 90.05 percent of its total length.
